The Coolest Things Happening IN VEGAS

YOU GUYS. It has been 1 year since we launched the first Guerrilla Storytime at ALA 2013. We will sure as hell be facilitating some in Vegas (see schedule below) but we are ALSO doing some other awesome stuff, and there is some other really, really cool stuff you don’t want to miss (with annotations by yours truly).

Kirby did a brills job of highlighting how to do ALA right by night, and INALJ also posted a guide to socializing. For my money, ULU Dance Party and Mango are the two can’t-miss baller times.

Did I miss something? Leave it in the comments!

We’ll see you in VEGAAAASSSS!

  1. I would LOVE to skip your panel for the Star Wars one but I won’t be at Annual this year 😦 Maybe I can skip one of your programs next year.

  2. Every Child Ready to Read 2 – Does it Really Work? Evaluating the Program, Saturday @ 8:30 am – I know, there are SO many awesome things scheduled at the same time, and this is another conflict with your conversation starter, but I hope some folks make it to this session! The presenters will talk about some amazing research that proves that our hard work sharing early literacy concepts with families is having an impact AND provides story time presenters with ways to facilitate even more early literacy learning at their libraries. I wish I could be there, but no ALA for me this year. Have a blast, everyone!
